Jolet Black Hybrid Asymmetrical Top

“Driven by artistic perfectionism, Jolet has emerged as a promising Australian designer label with a distinctive and stripped-back aesthetic that is unassumingly directional, yet accessible.”

I’m a big fan of asymmetric design and this Black Hybrid Asymmetrical Top from Australian womenswear brand Jolet‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection really hit a soft spot of mine. Made from silk and linen the top features a black, sleeveless bodice, an asymmetrical hem and an exposed gold centre back zip. I’m not normally a fan of exposed zips but on this piece it seems to really work, adding a hint of detail to the piece. The top is also fully lined, meaning that it’s most probably incredibly comfortable. Unique and comfortable, two words you’d never expect to see in the same sentence!
